A beautiful example of elegant design and distinguished understatement, the #1 Premium Rectangular Casket is our most popular model and is the ideal choice for traditional wakes and funerals. A classic example of the woodworker’s art, it features intricate, heirloom-quality construction and joinery, and is available in Walnut, Natural or Stained Oak, and Cherry. An over-sized model is also available in this style. This casket includes an enhanced upholstery upgrade for the interior lid panel and pillow.

This is our only hinged-lid model.

Every human being is a treasure and each casket and urn is built to reflect the treasure it holds. Every casket, urn and cross is blessed by a monk. (our Prayers)

The name of each person buried in one of our caskets or urns is inscribed in our Memorial Book placed in the chapel at Trappist Caskets.
As a living memorial, a tree seedling is planted in the monastic forest on the Abbey grounds as our way to honor your loved one and to give back to the earth. This planting is consecrated with a special blessing.
A Mass is celebrated in memory of those who use one of our blessed vessels for their final repose.
