We will store the casket for you here at the monastery and ship it when it is needed. Will a funeral home accept a Trappist Casket? Yes. All funeral homes and cemeteries in the U.S. are obligated by law to accept any funeral merchandise you wish to provide. Sensitive funeral providers will be very helpful in facilitating your request for a Trappist Casket. We are happy to assist you in making arrangements with your funeral provider. What about shipping? Through a combination of shipping options, we can have your casket delivered in 1-2 business days to most destinations. Shipping costs vary depending on the destination and transit time requested. Additional charges may apply to weekend shipping. Please call for shipping options and an exact shipping quote. What are the caskets made out of? We use only the best materials; from the highest grade Oak and Walnut available (some of it coming from our own forest) to the elegant solid brass handles that are custom made for us in England. We spare no expense in utilizing the finest materials.
